Coach Zepeda spent 6 years as a Division I college football player: 5 years at ACU where he was named team captain, and lettered at Texas A&M his final year. While at Texas A&M, he earned his Masters degree in Sports Physiology. He also obtained his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist®) from the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)*.
Post the collegiate football world, Coach Zepeda transitioned into a Strength and Conditioning role. He has experience working with softball, swim and dive, track and field, and other collegiate teams.
Currently, he works at Scottish Rite for Children where he helps young athletes on their journey back from injury.
While programming for multiple Free Agents, he also coaches people who are simply trying to achieve a healthier way of life.
*The NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS) certification proves the specialist possesses an elite, evidence-based foundation to lead in sports performance. CSCS allows the specialist to leverage the latest strength and conditioning research and best practices to push the limits of athletic potential.

My personal story began when a soccer injury, a bone spur in my hip, forced me to have surgery three weeks into my third season at Abilene Christian University. The bone spur caused cartilage to tear which also produced a torn labrum; all of which was incredibly painful. I realized I was experiencing Overtraining Syndrome. During my recovery, I recognized my passion: to educate other athletes on how to avoid sports injuries and to help them achieve their goals through safe, effective and purposeful training.
